Lot 4410 LARGE GERMAN TWO HANDED BROADSWORD.
This massive two handed broadsword measures in at 50" overall with a 39.5" blade. The blade has a 7.5" fuller that begins 1" from the ricasso and is flanked with partially visible engraved designs. The straight crossguard has has flattened ducks foot quillion tips and a raised central rib on the outer edge. The crossguard branches into double side rings with the outer ring having a raised central riv and central diamond flare. The swelled grip is wire wrapped with turkish knots and terminated with a fluted scent stopper pommel. CONDITION: Metal surfaces have a cleaned grey mottled patina.
